It just kills me what madmen do to innocent people. Of all the people caught in these horrendous events, children are the most defenseless. Yet this has happened again and again in Rwanda and now Syria…if remembering the past keeps us from being doomed to repeat the same mistakes, why is this still happening?

In all this game, the devil is losing and at the end will be accused of everything because GOD don’t want any rivals. Conclusion: live at the full in the freedom of GOD (praying in a right form, following the INSTRUCTIONS in the Bible – keeping the 10 commandments – including keeping the Saturday as the 7th day etc.) instead of in the incapacity and limited power of devil because he is just a temporary puppet. Jesus Christ is our savior and our hope!

If you are interested in learning more about the Khmer Rouge and the Killing Fields, and watch interviews with Nuon Chea, Pol Pot’s deputy, I suggest Googling ‘Enemies of the People’ or watching the film’s trailer on Youtube. It’s a really compelling story of a Cambodian journalist, Thet Sambath, trying to find out the truth about the Killing Fields and why his family died.

Thid video is nothing ofcourse than what I expected…khmer rouge is bad! No one who isn’t related to a khmer rouge will not these soldiers or followers did what they were force to do against their own will…my mother did not join the revolution to execute or kill fellow cambodians. She joined caused the king announced it after he was overthrown by lon nol…she said her self khmer rouge would have been good if it wasn’t for the killing of innocent cambodians. So think twice between whose bad

  11. Ben1238 says:

Yeah but mao is responsible for more murders than pot! Explain that?

  12. Lola Macks says:

  15. qwertypoiu4321 says:

It is because of US bombing of Cambodia that the Khmer Rouge came into power.

No doubt about it, this is your.
It happened in your country, and for sure as the history said, KHMER NEVER LEARNT ANY LESSON OR ANYTHING.
Stop crying and do something for your country, don’t let the world hate you anymore, it’s so embarrassing !!!!

  17. BoyScout1960 says:

The KR’s official position was that they were working to preserve Kampuchea’s people and to purify it’s culture, as well as defend it from Vietnam.
Instead, their mad reign very nearly brought the people and culture to extinction– and resulted in the invasion they so feared.

“This is so sad especially the picture of the frightened little girl @ 3:13. It just breaks my heart. It’s a shame that Pol Pot lived his life out without facing justice for these unspeakable crimes.”

    Agree so much with you!

  21. Pitbullterrieren says:

Yes, maybe. STrange that he didn’t was executed, that fucking idiot!

In Norway, there’s a political party called The Workers’ Communist Party (Arbeidernes Kommunistparti), that calls themselves marxistleninists and sometimes maoists, but the leader in the 1970′s, Paul Steigan in 1975 visited Campuchea and greeted Pol Pot!

After that he grew back to Norway, that motherfucker talked about THE FREE CAMBODIA! Therefore, it’s not a leninist or maoist – stalinst is right.

    Fuck Kh

  22. Pitbullterrieren says:

DON’T name Pot and Mao together!

  23. m16a1rifle says:

pol pot was an evil man. far worse than hitler himself

  24. m16a1rifle says:

  30. SoiCowboy2 says:

I live about an hour from Cambodia. The S21 and the Killing Fields are so depressing. Pol Pot and the KR murdered almost a quarter of the population. Most of the population are 21 and below as a result. They tried to do with curencies by paying everyone in rice, dressing and looking the same by having identical haircuts. now they are some of the nicest people you could meet. Awful what the last generation suffered. Today is the trial of one of the KR henchmen who is pleading mercy

  31. Lisa Scholz says:

yeah it really was captivating…”Hide and Seek” by Imogen Heap…such a great song

  32. ab040890 says:

what was the old song again? i remember that it was such a captivating song.

  33. KezzPezz1 says:

the Khmer Rouge wanted to control Cambodia. But in the end they fucked up big time…not only the lives of Cambodians were destroyed but other ethnic groups who lived in Cambodia as well such as the Thais, Vietnamese, Chinese.

  34. HairoGerry says:

i sort of like the old song better

  35. Chung Xa says:

Why did Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouge kill 2 million peoples the same nationality with him?

  36. Pullisto says:

Ignore gagecubes ignorant comments. Cambodia suffered more than any country, and still does. What gagecube forgets is while there might be evil brutes like KH R, theres some of the most genuine ppl in Cambodia too. Sadly those are the ones who have suffered and died. In USA, if there is an attack, its over the news for weeks, but in another country, an even worse disaster, it gets little coverage.
RIP Dith Pran (one example of a noble heroic Cambodian.)

    haha, same thought here ;)
youve been an hour faster with your answer ;)

have you ever been to a museum and saw the torutre methods of the medival europe?
    cant get more sadistic…

i could give many many more examples…
like the use of agent orange, by the americans during the vietnam war… people still suffer from that.

  44. furbyko says:

    i think youre wrong….
its not an asian “problem” more a problem of all humans…

just take closer look at europe or america and you will realize that we are the same…

for example: what the americans did to the indians, slavery, colonialism in africa, the crusade, presecution of “witches, chemical weapons in world war 1, the nuclear strike to hiroshima, abu ghraib in iraq and of cause nazi germany…
